Búzios

The Slaters invite you to celebrate their
25th Anniversary (January 18th, 2006) in Búzios, Brazil.

Our plan is to leave on Friday (1-13-06) arriving for the weekend and stay until Thursday (1-19-06) morning in Búzios. Since everyone wants to tour Rio (hey, as long as you're down there, might as well see the sights, right?), we'll be going to Rio on Thursday (1-19-06) and flying back to the US on Monday (1-23-06). That will put us back here (LAX) on Tuesday morning (Monday flights are cheaper than Sunday flights, if you can stay an extra day).

Búzios (BOO-zee-ohs) is an international town, very European because the Italians and French have been going there for a while. During the high season (Estação Alta), when we're going, it'll be hard to walk around and not find someone to help you if you need a translation. Búzios is all about the beaches and the night life, be prepared to party!

We're planning on eating dinner together every night in Búzios before we go out to town.

We'll have transportation arranged between the airport and Búzios - and to Rio on Thursday, as long as you give us your flight info.

Our travel coordinator is Tony Banos (310) 441-8500 or outside LA area (800) 441-8515. He can book the flight only, or the flight and hotels in Buzios and Rio. The prices will go up as time goes by because it'll be the high season. I need a head count by November 15th so we can arrange for the transportation from the airport to Búzios.
