| Tatiana and Adriana participated in The Great American Bake Sale, an effort to raise funds to fight childhood hunger in America. Tatiana made flyers, distributed them, maintained the website, baked cookies and managed the sale. Adriana baked cookies and took pictures. A fair division of labor! Tatiana asked Maren and Zain for help, and we were sooo thankful for Zain! As you can see, he got us our customers.

| We had help from many bakers, Grandma Dolly brought magic bars and a German chocolate cake, and our neighbors contributed with baked goods and they purchased cookies and a cake. Tatiana baked an orange cake inside an orange, it tasted delicious, and Adriana went for the staples, chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies.

| The sale was success. We made more than $200. Adding that to the contributions from friends through the website, the total was closer to $350. But then Dad matched the sale proceeds, so our GRAND TOTAL was $543.00!
