Pool Updating

As you can see by the color of the pictures, there was quite a change in the pool. The top pictures are the "before" and the bottom ones the "after." Click here to see comparison shots. In the middle you can see the process. It's for those of you who are curious as to how it's done.

In the first construction picture, you see the pool stripped of everything. They did that in one day, I was amazed.

After they started the construction, we figured that it would be stupid not to replace the Jacuzzi jets as well, so we had some more breakage.

Once the tiles and coping were in place, it started to show how beautiful it would finish.

When they first started applying the pebble coat, I thought to myself "That's not the color!", which made me feel really stupid, because they make you sign a paper that day agreeing that that's the color you want. But after they sprayed and the pebble showed, it was the right color. There were ten guys inside the pool, spraying and trowelling to make sure it was an even surface. That stuff must dry really fast.

After the pool was done, we decided to paint that white blinding fence. As you can see, it was a smart decision.

Now we wait for the first party so we can post more pictures!

The background is a picture of the water in the pool, that's how beautiful and inviting it is.
