Becoming An American Citizen

Information

I haven't heard anything from them, I'm starting to get worried that my paperwork is lost somewhere. I can't request the information by phone - they won't do it - or on line, I forgot to copy the number they gave my case. Santa Ana here I come! 1/16/04

The oath is scheduled! I spend 4 hours there, of course there were lines! When it was finnaly my turn, the lady told me that a letter had been sent already (I hadn't seen it), but that she'd print me one anyway. And when I got home, the letter was waiting for me. I should have been more patient, that's all! The ceremony is on January 30th, two weeks from now. I wished they had given me more notice so Steve could be there. And it's finals week for the kids, so it looks like I'll be by myself. Since it's at the LA Convention Center, I'll bum a bed from Jeanne and be there early. Well, an American Citizen will be writing the next (and last) rant.

Next ranting.
