Becoming An American Citizen

Fingerprints

Fingerprints done! I thought it would take a couple of hours, it took two and a half. Not too bad. I just thought that because I had an appointment it would go faster. Nah! They just had one big line and then a smaller one. Get in the big line, wait your turn, show your documents, then sit and wait. While waiting I observed that there must have been many different countries represented there. And of course I met a Brazilian! I tell you, we infiltrate everywhere. She was talking on the phone with some friends. After she was done, we exchanged phone numbers, maybe we'll meet again this Summer.

My sister told me it takes about three months after the fingerprints for them to call for an interview. Maybe I'll be able to vote in the next presidential election!

Next ranting.
