The Napa Valley Wine Auction

The Auction is always a good time. This year, the co-chairs Robert and Magrit Mondavi went all natural. The artwork was cherubs: each artist got one and could do what they pleased. Some were very weird, but some were lovable. Unfortunately, we we not able to buy any. Although we bid for some in the silent auction, the price increased too much. Oh, well.

The wines fetched absurd amounts of money, but it is all for a good cause, or should I say, for good causes. Last year's money benefited several Boys and Girls Clubs aside from hospitals and shelters.
